Calla Lilly Cupcakes
This past wekend I had the pleasure to work with Vanessa, Chris and Irene (mother of the bride). Their wedding took place at the beautiful Minnekhada Lodge in Port Coquitlam BC. They requested cupcakes, one for each guest attending, and a top cake for the cutting ceremony. They were very eye catching, because of the colors and decorations. The vanilla cupcakes were iced with an ivory/lemon flavored buttercream and finished with a handmade eggplant colored fondant calla lilly. The chocolate cupcakes were simply iced with milk chocolate ganache (for all chocolate lovers). The top cake was a vanilla cake with lemon buttercream icing with the addition of a thin layer of ivory fondant for the perfect finish. The top cake was also decorated with fondant calla lillies to match the cupcakes. When it was all finished and put into place they looked stunning!
