Gerbera Wedding Cupcakes

This was the first bride and groom that I had ever worked with that had the perfect image of their wedding day, right down to a sketched drawing of the cupcake / cake design. Outstanding! When you entered the reception venue you could tell that alot of thought and preperation was put into it and not a detail was missed. Greg and Nikolett are so sweet. They chose to have two different flavors and styles of cupcakes, the first being a vanilla cupcake with a sage green/lemon flavored buttercream icing decorated with pink fondant daisies, the other is a chocolate cupcake with soft pink/vanilla flavored buttercream icing decorated with a large pink gerbera fondant daisy with a softer pink buttercream center. These wedding cupcakes were almost to cute to eat!  The top cake is a vanilla 8" cake with a lemon filling and a buttercream icing, the bottom pink and green rope was made of fondant icing. They also ordered an additional 8" cake for a guest Lilla that was celebrating her 2nd birthday. It is a vanilla cake with a vanilla filling and buttercream finish, and is decorated in their pink and green wedding colors, with the addition of a little gumpaste teddy bear on top. The reception was held at a very quaint restaurant in Fort Langley BC called the Bedford House.
