Sweet Retreat

This cake was a unique request. I was given a very small wooden carving of a Indian style whale to recreate as a cake for a 65th birthday celebration. It is a vanilla cake with a luscious lemon filling and a thin layer of lemon buttercream icing. The details are etched into fondant and then air brushed for a crisp colored finish.
