Sweet Retreat

A four tier square rental cake, made by Sweet Retreat for a lovely bride from Seattle, Washington that was getting married in Vancouver BC, I know that planning a wedding takes alot time, but I couldn't imagine the struggle of having to plan one from out of town. Awesome job Zeba! She was having a reception for 400+ guests and went the rental cake route along with 3 additional slab cakes. The flavors for the additional cakes are vanilla with white chocolate ganache filling and vanilla buttercream icing, the other is chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and hazelnut buttercream icing. The slab cakes were precut and individually wrapped and decorated with a buttercream rosette and a mint green fondant daisy. For the rental cake she chose a four tier square wedding cake with white fondant icing, to decorate and incorporate her colors into it I piped a mint green swirl pattern that was done with royal icing. The top real cake is a chocolate cake with a milk chocolate ganache filling ang a mocha buttercream icing underneath the fondant finish. The design was very bold and whimsical, her cousins and sister were very impressed with the look of the cake when they saw it.
