Sweet Retreat

 This cake was created for all the ladies that were in my prenatal class. It was the last class that we had and I thought what better way to celebrate but with a pregnant belly cake that looked like a cast of our tummies. I guess it is pretty self explanitory that it was to be a chocolate cake to full fill all our cravings. The filling was a comination of chocolate mousse and milk chocolate ganache. The icing underneath the white fondant that was drapped to look like a maternity top is a vanilla buttercream. The decorations are sunflower yellow and lime green fondant cut out hearts and summery daisies. It was fun to make and brought a smile to all the ladies faces.
